The Special Treat.

So,
After a week having hardly worked ,it was time to freak out during the weekend !
Still devoid of a television....its sickening to be at home.

This Friday night was a real special one for me. We( Joe and me) met Sumit , my CSA senior who is working for Oracle. At Garuda , looking for a nice flick, we found most of them ( Fight Club , TAXI NO-9211 , Fun With Dick And Jane) were already watched.

But movie was a must ,and then it took us just a sec to decide --->
Rang De Basanti (http://www.orkut.com/Community.aspx?cmm=8261882). It was second time for me and Joe but it was nothing against Sumit's 7th !!!
The show was at 9.45 , so we went to Hyd Mahal at Brigade Road for dinner . It was a nice place with good ambience . After a light dinner , there was still enuf time to roam around a bit. Sumit took us to Amoeba, The Bowler's Den and rite away got three tickets for a go at the Bowling Alley.

Having already played an Inter School Competition for my School , I was comfortable with my first clean strike getting all the balls down . It was Sumit next and the ball slipped through the corner of the alley without disturbing nething on its way. Joe had a similar luck with his first go at Bowling. It was time for some expert teaching ;-) and they really got going after that.

In the end with my score at 100 , i did better than most ppl bowling around but if u tell that I hav participated in an inter School Bowling Competition , it was a shame. Sumit got a clean strike in his last attempt. He finished at 68, Joe at 57.

The show was to start in 10 mins , so we left quickly. The sky was overcast and it looked as if the sky wld burst open any moment. We got into the cozy seats in INOX . This was my first time at INOX , Bangalore (we hav vowed not to personally spend 170 bucks for a movie just coz its INOX. Symphony and Rex Front Stall are just as good @ 50 bucks ....11 ;-). The screen certainly looked small compared to the multiplex theatre's back home in Calcutta. When I watched it at first, I was actually critisizing it on some aspects which are not possible. The second experience really made me understand the real meaning of the movie and the message it was trying to convey; truly an inspiring movie , movie to awaken the generation.

It was already past 1 in the night when the movie got over and to find it was pouring outside made me a bit nervous. U know what exorbitant rates the autowala's ask in these situations. To my relief I got an auto with just double the meter rate. Bidding good bye to Sumit and Joe, and a special thanx to Sumit (for I think i dont know neone who is as good as him---he is just too good for this world ) , I left for home .

:)
